ChuChu TV: nursery rhymes with the words on screen
ChuChu TV does the same job as HooplaKidz and does it louder: brighter animation, bouncier arrangements, and the words on screen as they are sung.
What it is
Animated nursery rhymes with on-screen lyrics. The characters are more designed and the colours more saturated than the traditional versions, which is exactly why some children pick these over the plainer ones. Having the words visible also makes it useful slightly later, when a child starts matching what they hear to what they see.

A dozen, which makes it one of our smaller collections — but they are among the most-sung-along-to on the site. Wheels on the Bus, Row Row Row Your Boat, Old MacDonald, Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, Hickory Dickory Dock, If You're Happy and You Know It, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes.
What to know
It is high-energy, which is a virtue at ten in the morning and rather less of one at seven in the evening — HooplaKidz or Nijntje are the calmer choices for the end of the day. Twelve videos will not fill an afternoon either, so treat it as a set of favourites rather than a series.
